The Pepecoin ($PEP) network has officially completed its final scheduled halving event. This milestone was reached as miners processed the 600,000th block on the blockchain.
As a result of this halving, the block reward has been reduced from 15,625 Pepecoin to 10,000 Pepecoin. This event marks the conclusion of the network’s halving cycle. Under the current protocol specifications, the block reward is set to remain at 10,000 Pepecoin per block indefinitely, with no further reward reductions scheduled for the future.
This transition represents the beginning of a long-term emission phase for the Pepecoin ecosystem, providing a predictable reward structure for network participants moving forward.
